(NLĐO) – Gold prices rose today for both SJC gold bars and gold rings, reaching 84.5 million VND/ounce.
On the morning of December 26th, the SJC gold bar price was listed by SJC Company at 82.5 million VND/ounce for buying and 84.5 million VND/ounce for selling, an increase of 200,000 VND per ounce compared to yesterday.
This is also the price for gold bars at PNJ Company and banks such as Eximbank and Sacombank. Meanwhile,ACB raised its buying price for gold bars to 83.8 million VND/ounce; Mi Hong Company bought at up to 84 million VND/ounce; the selling price was similar to other businesses, around 84.5 million VND/ounce.
Prices of SJC gold bars and gold rings have risen again.
Not only gold bars, but the price of 99.99% pure gold rings also continued to rise this morning. SJC Company traded plain gold rings at 82.5 million VND/ounce for buying and 84.3 million VND/ounce for selling, an increase of 200,000 VND per ounce compared to yesterday.
PNJ, DOJI , and Mi Hong companies also sell plain gold rings at higher prices, around 84.5 million VND/ounce, while the buying price varies by about 1 million VND among businesses, ranging from 82.3 million VND to 83.8 million VND/ounce.
Domestic gold prices remained relatively stable this morning as global prices were closed for Christmas and New Year. In the short term, gold prices are not expected to break through today as the US dollar index continues to maintain a high level in the international market. Currently, the USD index is approximately 108 points, its highest level in about two years.
The world gold price, converted at the listed exchange rate, is approximately 80.8 million VND/ounce, about 3.7 million VND/ounce lower than SJC gold bars and gold rings. This is a record low price difference in the past year, especially since both SJC gold bars and gold rings are trading at very close prices.
