ANTD.VN - The price of gold rings has dropped sharply for two consecutive sessions, losing the 83 million VND/tael mark while SJC gold also adjusted down 500 thousand VND per tael this morning.
Opening the trading session on October 10, domestic gold prices simultaneously decreased sharply.
SJC gold is sold at 4 state-owned commercial banks ( Agribank , BIDV, Vietcombank and VietinBank), SJC Company as well as other large gold trading enterprises at 84.5 million VND/tael, down 500 thousand VND/tael compared to yesterday's session. On the buying side, enterprises listed the selling price 2 million VND/tael lower than the selling price, at 82.5 million VND/tael.

Similarly, the price of gold rings also dropped quite deeply with a decrease of up to 300 - 400 thousand VND per tael in the early morning. In total, after 2 consecutive sessions of decrease, gold rings of all brands lost about 700 thousand VND per tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau's Thang Long Gold Round Ring 81.88 - 82.88 million VND/tael; Phu Quy 999.9 Round Ring 81.95 - 82.90 million VND/tael;
DOJI Hung Thinh Vuong ring 81.90 - 82.90 million VND/tael; SJC 999.99 ring 81.60 - 82.90 million VND/tael.
In the world , after continuously decreasing since the beginning of the month, the spot gold price at times came close to the 2,600 USD/ounce mark in the last night session, Vietnam time. At 9:30 am, Vietnam time, the precious metal was trading around 2,614 USD/ounce.
The gold market has confirmed that it is entering a periodic correction during this multi-year bull run. According to experts, these price corrections are typical and common for any asset class and often provide opportunities for investors to enter or expand their positions.
As for gold, it has been rising significantly since August without any notable corrections until now. The break above the $2,700 mark seems to have triggered a long-awaited pullback.
Meanwhile, gold's long-term fundamentals remain strong, with global economic uncertainty, inflation concerns and geopolitical tensions.
