Reduce 36 fees for businesses and people

VnExpressVnExpress30/06/2023

The Ministry of Finance continues to reduce collection from 10% to 50% for 36 fees and charges from July 1 to the end of this year.

This is the fourth year the agency has reduced fees to support people and businesses.

Accordingly, from July 1 to the end of this year, about 20 items will be reduced by half such as fees, including appraisal fees for granting international travel service business licenses, domestic travel service business licenses; appraisal fees for granting tour guide cards.

Other fees are also reduced, such as granting licenses for the establishment and operation of non-bank credit institutions; securities; registration of import of publications for business purposes; industrial property; issuance of citizen identification cards, passports, travel documents, exit permits and fees in the health sector.

The Ministry of Finance calculates that the budget will reduce revenue by about 700 billion VND this year from reducing these fees and charges.

Also from July 1, domestically assembled cars and trailers or semi-trailers will have their registration fees reduced by 50%. This policy will not help reduce car prices but will reduce the costs of keeping the car on the road. The reduction in this type of fee is also aimed at stimulating domestic car consumption in the context of many difficulties for businesses in this field.
