In the first 9 months of the year, Party committees, authorities at all levels, and internal affairs agencies have focused on leading, directing, and implementing well the tasks of national defense and security, maintaining national security and territorial border sovereignty . Focusing on directing the fight against and effectively preventing the establishment of a "separate state", the activities of heretical sects and illegal religions; effectively implementing measures to prevent violations and crimes, especially drug-related crimes. Coordination between prosecution and judicial support agencies in investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments has been tight, effective, and in accordance with regulations. Attention has been paid to the work of receiving citizens, dialogue with people, and handling complaints, denunciations, and petitions. Propaganda, dissemination, and education of laws on corruption prevention and control have been carried out regularly; transparency has been enhanced, and administrative procedure reform has been promoted; timely handling of corruption cases occurring in the area. The Judicial Reform Steering Committee has issued and implemented the key program of judicial reform in 2023; organized thematic inspections of judicial reform.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong requested agencies, units and localities to strengthen the work of ensuring social security and order, traffic safety, safety at construction works and projects under construction; fire prevention and fighting, rescue; prevention of social crimes, kidnapping, extortion, and illegal border crossing. At the same time, strengthen citizen reception, resolve petitions, complaints and denunciations, and prevent large gatherings that complicate security and order, and problems arising from the grassroots. Pay attention to food safety and water sources. Strengthen the work of building and consolidating military and police facilities, especially defense lines in border areas. For localities with key projects, it is necessary to strictly manage emerging urgent issues, and issues beyond the authority of the locality need to be reported to the provincial level for resolution.
