Vietnam - China singing exchange on Bac Luan border river

Within the framework During the 2024 China-Vietnam Trade, Tourism and Industry Cooperation Exhibition Week (Dongxing - Mong Cai), on the afternoon of December 5th , a singing exchange program took place on the Bac Luan border river at the Xoay Nguon junction in Mong Cai city, between young people from Mong Cai (Vietnam) and Dongxing (China).

At the event, Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Mong Cai City (Vietnam), and Mr. To Phi, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Dongxing Municipal Party Committee (China), jointly presented beautiful flower baskets as a token of warm congratulations, expressing the friendly feelings between the people of Mong Cai and Dongxing.

On the friendly Bac Luan River, the flower-decorated boat served as the stage for a singing exchange performance between the youth of Mong Cai and Dongxing. Wearing their traditional ethnic costumes and performing a blend of traditional folk songs and contemporary music, the youth of both countries sang folk songs and dances praising patriotism, the aspiration for peace , the aspirations of youth, and the friendship between Vietnam and China, as well as their cooperation and development along the border.

The performances were meticulously prepared and well-invested in.

The exchange of folk songs on the Bac Luan border river is one of the unique activities at the Vietnam-China border, in Mong Cai and Dongxing , eagerly awaited by the people of both countries and leaving a deep impression on the youth of both nations in particular and border residents in general . This is also a practical activity demonstrating the comprehensive and sustainable cooperative relationship based on the 16-character motto and the spirit of the four "goods" that the leaders of the two Parties, two states, and two localities have diligently cultivated. The folk song exchange also conveys a common message from the youth of both countries to preserve, strengthen, and promote the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and China, working together to build the two cities of Mong Cai and Dongxing into peaceful, friendly, cooperative , stable , and developed cities. The 2024 folk song exchange program on the Bac Luan border river received enthusiastic support from the people of both Vietnam and China.
