On August 26, 2024, the President signed Decision No. 844/QD-CTN appointing Comrade Bui Thanh Son, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs to hold the position of Deputy Prime Minister for the 2021-2026 term.
