At 8:00 p.m. on July 12, the final match of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 between the Vietnamese and Chinese teams will take place.

According to records, right from noon, the weather in Da Nang was hot, many people and tourists flocked to beautiful locations on the banks of the Han River (along Tran Hung Dao Street) to spread out tarps and set up umbrellas to "reserve spots" to watch the fireworks.

On the riverbank, countless raincoats, bricks, and shoes were prepared by locals and tourists to "reserve their spots". Many families and groups of young people also prepared enough food and drinks to wait until evening.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh (a tourist from Hanoi ) said his group of more than 10 people arrived in Da Nang on the opening night of the fireworks.

"Currently, the whole group is in Ba Na, expected to arrive at the Han River around 3pm this afternoon. This year, both the Vietnamese and Chinese teams had very beautiful performances in the qualifying round, so I am very excited for the final match. Because I was afraid of running out of good seats, I had to buy a tarp and come early to reserve a spot," said Mr. Binh.

Meanwhile, many groups of young people were present from 6-7am to choose positions near the stands.

“Vietnam is in the final so the atmosphere this year is much more exciting. We came early in the morning and chose a spot right next to the river. We are also saving seats for many other people to have lunch,” said a young person.

Earlier on the afternoon of June 29, the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival DIFF 2025 announced two excellent fireworks teams competing in the final night on the evening of July 12. With absolute scores, the Z121 Vina Pyrotech fireworks team - Vietnam and the excellent Jiangxi Yanfeng team - China were selected to compete to find this year's champion.

In the qualifying round, the performances of the two teams Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Ministry of National Defense and Jiangxi Yanfeng - China were assessed to have a clear breakthrough, harmoniously combining high technology and distinct cultural identity, while expressing the spirit of the general theme of DIFF 2025: "Da Nang - New Era".
