The unit continues to focus on caring for union members' lives. The District Labor Federation has presented 80 gifts, worth 40 million VND, to union members in difficult circumstances and those who have had work-related accidents. Grassroots unions have also mobilized to present more than 2,800 gifts, worth over 576 million VND, on the occasion of April 30 and May 1.
In addition, the movement to recruit union members and establish grassroots unions achieved positive results. During the month, 155 new union members were recruited and 1 grassroots union was established at an enterprise with over 25 employees. The work of introducing outstanding union members for the Party to consider for admission exceeded the target with 27 union members introduced, reaching 135%.
Cultural and sports activities are promoted. The District Labor Federation coordinates with the Center for Culture, Sports and Broadcasting to organize art and sports competitions to celebrate major holidays, with a total prize fund of more than 23 million VND.
Through key activities, the Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in Go Dau district this year are considered successful, contributing to raising awareness, caring for the lives and rights of union members and workers in the area.
