(CLO) On February 9 (ie January 12, 2025), Tam Chuc Pagoda, Kim Bang Town ( Ha Nam ) held the opening ceremony of Tam Chuc Spring Festival 2025 with the theme "Tam Chuc - Sacred Convergence". Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh attended the opening ceremony.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Tam Chuc Spring Festival 2025, Most Venerable Thich Minh Quang, Deputy Abbot of Tam Chuc Pagoda, said that the restoration of the Tam Chuc Pagoda Festival on January 12 every year is the desire of the local people and Buddhist followers, and at the same time, to preserve and promote traditional cultural values.

Thereby, contributing to introducing and promoting the image of the cultural values of the homeland, creating conditions for people and Buddhists at home and abroad to visit the Tam Chuc Pagoda spiritual tourist area, a masterpiece of Buddhist architecture of Ha Nam province and Vietnam.
Under the chairmanship of Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu, Permanent Vice President of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, abbot of Tam Chuc Pagoda, the opening ceremony of Tam Chuc Pagoda Festival 2025 took place with incense offering rituals praying for national peace and prosperity, favorable weather, bountiful crops to bring a peaceful life to the people and humanity.
At the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh presented the award "Ha Nam - Asia's leading emerging tourist destination" and "Special Achievement" in 2024 of the World Travel Awards Organization to Ha Nam province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee Truong Quoc Huy emphasized that in the overall picture of Ha Nam culture and tourism, Tam Chuc scenic spot is a typical, unique heritage with outstanding value and diverse tourism resources, especially attractive with advantages in natural landscape as well as cultural values.
With the orientation of developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector, Ha Nam province has implemented many synchronous solutions to effectively exploit its available potential. From planning, infrastructure investment to promotion, and organization of national and international events, Ha Nam has become a safe, friendly destination, attracting a large number of tourists. In 2024, the province welcomed nearly 4.8 million tourists, with total tourism revenue reaching 3,657 billion VND. In particular, Ha Nam was honored by the World Travel Awards Organization as "Asia's Leading Emerging Tourist Destination" and awarded the "Special Achievement" award. This is a testament to the strong and breakthrough development of Ha Nam tourism.

The opening ceremony of Tam Chuc Spring Festival 2025 with many rich and diverse activities aims to continue and preserve fine cultural traditions, widely promote the image of the land and people of Ha Nam to a wide range of people, domestic and international tourists, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the value of Ha Nam's cultural heritage associated with sustainable tourism development. The image of Ha Nam - Tam Chuc is increasingly enhanced, affirming its solid position on the tourism map of Vietnam and the region.
After the ceremony is a welcoming art program consisting of 4 chapters: Tam Chuc - The glorious era; Tam Chuc - Journey to revive the sacred land; Tam Chuc - Heritage Hao Quan and Spring on the land of Buddha.
