Hanoi promotes culinary culture, introduces craft villages

DNVN - The 2024 Shopping Festival will take place from December 20-24 at the Duoc Thuong auction land area, Tien Duoc, Soc Son district, Hanoi city. The event promotes culinary culture and introduces traditional crafts to domestic and international tourists.

The 2024 Shopping Festival, themed "Agricultural Product Shopping Festival, Promoting Culture and Linking Tourism ," was held in Soc Son to strengthen networking activities and support businesses and cooperatives. The event also promoted Hanoi's culinary culture and introduced traditional craft villages to domestic and international tourists.

Approximately 120 stalls, showcasing over 1,000 product lines, were featured at the festival. The items on display included regional specialties, processed foods, high-tech agricultural products, green agricultural products from cooperatives, OCOP (One Commune One Product) certified products, handicrafts, and traditional village products.

The 2024 Shopping Festival promotes culinary culture and introduces Hanoi's traditional craft villages to domestic and international tourists.

Besides displaying, introducing, and selling products, there are also practical activities to promote and publicize traditional culture and arts to welcome the new year and celebrate the Party Congress at all levels.

The festival also aims to concretize cooperation programs between Hanoi city and provinces and cities nationwide, in the spirit of "Hanoi with the whole country, the whole country with Hanoi". At the same time, it supports businesses and manufacturers in accessing consumer markets, finding business partners, expanding distribution systems, and exploiting the potential of the domestic market.
