Techmart 2025 will be held in a combination of in-person and online formats at techmart.techport.vn, taking place at the Technology Exchange (79 Truong Dinh Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

Against the backdrop of Ho Chi Minh City's determination to lead in the digital transformation and sustainable development process, Techmart 2025 is positioned as an important "bridge" between technology and the market; between universities, businesses, management agencies, and the people.

The event not only creates a two-way interactive flow from research to application but also promotes the commercialization of technology products, incubates national technology products, and helps businesses enhance their competitiveness through data and knowledge.

According to the organizers, this year's Techmart attracted more than 100 technologies and equipment from 50 research institutes, universities, and businesses both domestically and internationally.

4 main technological pillars

The solutions showcased at Techmart 2025 focus on four key areas serving the city's pressing needs:

Smart City Management : This is a core group of technologies with monitoring and operational solutions based on big data and artificial intelligence (AI). These technologies support the management of urban infrastructure, environment, and transportation, such as: Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) that coordinate traffic lights based on traffic flow, analyze vehicles, recognize license plates, and warn of violations; AI-powered urban security monitoring that helps identify objects, monitor crowds, and analyze real-time camera footage; GIS and digital mapping solutions that support planning management, infrastructure monitoring, and urban data analysis; UAVs and GIS in government administration to support construction monitoring, infrastructure management, and the management of markets, residential areas, and construction projects; systems for operating and coordinating public utility services such as lighting, green spaces, waste management, electricity, and water in buildings; and centralized urban management platforms integrating cameras, sensors, radar, GPS data, IoT, etc.

Digital Healthcare : The healthcare sector introduces platforms that optimize medical examinations and treatments, improving the quality of community healthcare, such as: Electronic medical records - personal health records (EMR, PHR); Telehealth & Telemedicine Agents supporting remote examinations and consultations, and remote patient monitoring using IoT; AI for analyzing medical images to support X-ray and MRI diagnosis, disease prediction, and treatment support; Hospital ERP platforms to manage personnel, supplies, and medical examination and treatment processes; AI Big Data for analyzing clinical medical data, optimizing medical examinations and treatments, and predicting epidemics…

Smart Education : Techmart offers innovative solutions for teaching methods, educational management, and the development of high-quality human resources, such as: Learning Management Systems (LMS) that digitize management processes, learning materials, and teacher-student interaction; Smart classrooms with interactive screens, electronic whiteboards, AI cameras for attendance tracking, and control and recording systems; GenAI educational support that helps create learning content, evaluate assignments, grade assignments, and provide automated feedback; STEM - Robotics - AR/VR solutions for visual teaching; Applications for managing finances, equipment and facilities, and electronic libraries; Learning Analytics systems that support progress tracking and personalize learning paths for students…

Digital tourism : Aimed at enhancing the tourist experience, improving service quality, and strengthening destination promotion, including: Digital maps, GIS, and 3D destination simulation data; VR/AR in tourism experiences: virtual reality tours, multimedia explanations, and tourist area simulations; AI-powered personalized itinerary suggestions, optimizing tours, costs, and destinations according to preferences; Travel ERP platforms and destination management systems with automated quotation, booking, and customer service features; and the Smart Tourism “All-in-one” application for booking tours, hotels, flights, and other services.

Series of workshops and in-depth consultations

Alongside the exhibition, Techmart 2025 will host 14 technology demonstration workshops throughout the two days of the event. Key topics include: AI and IoT applications for smart transportation; WebGIS systems for hydrographic forecasting; the GenAI platform for education; and AI solutions for disease diagnosis based on clinical data...

In particular, the expert consultation area will have the permanent participation of 8 reputable experts from universities such as the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (under the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy. These experts will provide free consultation on digital transformation, from building learning management systems and electronic medical records to applying AI in tourism data analysis and urban management.

Within the framework of the event, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology will also officially launch the new interface of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Information Portal (Techport.vn).

This serves as a hub connecting the supply and demand of technology in the city, helping businesses, universities, organizations, and management agencies easily access, find, and implement digital transformation, innovation, and technology transfer solutions.
