Hanoi will develop more night tourism products.

This plan aims to implement the Project "Some models for developing night tourism products" issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as carry out tasks and solutions to accelerate recovery and accelerate effective and sustainable tourism development in Hanoi in the period of 2023-2025.

The goal by 2025 is to have at least one model for developing night tourism products; forming a separate night entertainment complex in Hanoi city.

To implement this plan, the Department will conduct a survey of the current situation and development potential of night tourism products in a number of districts, towns and cities in the city, ensuring that the products must have the characteristics of each locality.

Accordingly, from the first quarter of 2024, surveys will be conducted in 5 areas:

Area 1: Hoan Kiem and West Lake districts, part of the city center tourist cluster and Long Bien district, Gia Lam district.

Area 2: Districts: Nam Tu Liem, Bac Tu Liem, Phuc Tho, Hoai Duc, Dan Phuong.

Area 3: Soc Son, Me Linh, Dong Anh districts (in the North of the city).

Area 4: Districts and towns: Quoc Oai, Thach That, Son Tay, Ba Vi (in the West of the city).

Area 5: Districts: My Duc, Ung Hoa, Phu Xuyen (in the South of the city).

After conducting the survey, the Department of Tourism will organize a conference with potential localities to develop night tourism products in the area, then gradually plan to develop suitable night tourism products in the selected localities.

Currently, in Hanoi city, there are 16 night tourism products, contributing to enriching Hanoi's tourism products.

The Department of Tourism proposes that in the coming time, there will be some more night tourism products at many destinations, such as the Model of cultural and artistic performances, shopping, night entertainment, introducing culinary culture, and night food services in Dong Xuan commune, Quoc Oai district; Van Dinh Culinary Culture Point at the Incense Making Village in Quang Phu Cau commune, Ung Hoa district; Tay Ho Night Flower Market in Tay Ho district; Point introducing and displaying products to serve tourists and develop Hanoi's night economy at My Dinh National Sports Complex, Nam Tu Liem district.

The Department of Tourism requests that relevant departments, branches and units regularly inform and actively coordinate with the Department of Tourism to implement the Plan to build and develop night tourism products in Hanoi. The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities provide information and relevant documents on destinations in the area with potential to build night tourism products; invest in infrastructure and technical tourism facilities (if necessary) at selected destinations to build night tourism products in the area; coordinate the implementation of the contents of the Plan.
