Hai Phong welcomes increased cold air

According to the forecast of the Hai Phong City Hydrometeorological Station, on November 2, the Hai Phong area will be cloudy with rain and light rain in some places. The temperature at 1 p.m. on November 2 will generally be from 20.2 - 23.6°C, with northeast winds at level 2 - 3. In the Gulf of Tonkin (including Bach Long Vi special zone), there will be east to northeast winds at level 5, then increasing to level 6 with gusts of level 7.

On the evening of November 2, a cold air mass affected the northern mountainous provinces of the North. It is forecasted that on the night of November 2, the cold air mass will strengthen and affect Hai Phong city. Due to the influence of the strengthening cold air mass combined with easterly wind disturbances, the area will have rain and cold weather. The lowest temperature is commonly 17 - 19°C.

On land, there are northeast winds of level 2 - 3. The Gulf of Tonkin (including the sea area of Bach Long Vi special zone) has northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8, rough seas, waves of 2 - 3 m high. The sea area of Do Son, Cat Hai - Lan Ha Bay has northeast winds of level 3 - 4, waves of 0.25 - 0.75 m high.

On the night of November 2 and the day of November 3, it is forecasted that in the wards and communes of Thuy Nguyen, Le Chan, Hai An, Kien An, An Duong, An Lao, Tien Lang, Vinh Bao, Chi Linh, Kinh Mon, Thanh Ha, Hai Duong , Cam Giang, Tu Ky, Ninh Giang, Thanh Mien, Kim Thanh, the lowest temperature will be from 18 - 20°C; the average temperature will be 19 - 20°C.

Wards and special zones: Do Son, Duong Kinh, Cat Hai, Bach Long Vi have the lowest temperature from 19 - 21°C; average temperature from 20 - 21°C.

On November 3 and 4, the lowest and average temperatures in the above areas will decrease by about 1°C, the lowest temperature in Hai Phong areas will be 17°C, the highest temperature will be about 21°C.
