Hai Phong Customs processed more than 370 thousand declarations in 2 months

(HQ Online) - In February, Hai Phong Customs Department processed 146,915 import-export declarations, down 10.16% over the same period in 2023.

In February, Hai Phong Customs processed 77,979 import declarations and 68,936 export declarations.

Among the 9 branches under the Department, the Export Processing Zone and Industrial Park Customs Branch has the largest number of declarations with 39,877 declarations.

Meanwhile, Hai Phong Port Customs Branch, Region 1, had the fewest number of declarations in February with 3,430 declarations.

In February 2024, at Hai Phong Customs Department, there were 65.9% green channel declarations; 31.5% yellow channel declarations and 2.6% red channel declarations.

However, in the seaport customs sub-departments alone (Hai Phong Port Customs Sub-department Area 1, Hai Phong Port Customs Sub-department Area 2, Hai Phong Port Customs Sub-department Area 3 and Dinh Vu Port Customs Sub-department), the rate of yellow and red channel declarations is still high. Specifically, there are up to 79.7% of yellow and red channel declarations (of which red channel is 7%) and green channel 20.3%.

Previously, in January 2024, Hai Phong Customs Department processed import and export procedures for 225,167 declarations.

Thus, in the first two months of 2024, the total number of declarations processed at Hai Phong Customs was 372,082 declarations.

By the end of February, the total import-export turnover cleared at Hai Phong Customs reached 18.68 billion USD.
