At 10:50 p.m., the procession entered Thien Truong Temple yard.

The ceremony of carrying the seal palanquin was solemnly held according to traditional rituals. The seal was carried from Co Trach temple, where the Great King Tran Quoc Tuan was worshiped, to Thien Truong temple, where the tablets of 14 Tran kings were placed, to hold the seal opening ceremony.

After the palanquin carrying the seal was carried from Co Trach to Thien Truong temple, the Mobile Police force surrounded the area to protect it. At this year's Seal Opening Ceremony, there was no more throwing of coins onto the palanquin carrying the seal.

The seal opening ceremony originated from the Tran Dynasty. After defeating the Yuan-Mongol invaders, at Thien Truong Palace, King Tran Thai Tong held a celebration party and awarded titles to officers and soldiers who had contributed to fighting the enemy and keeping the border peaceful.

Tourists and locals expressed their sincerity to Saint Tran, praying for a lucky year. Nguyen Van Dinh, from Thanh Hoa , said that despite the heavy rain, he would stay in the temple yard until the seal distribution time to receive the lucky seal for the first day of the year.

At exactly 5am on February 24, the 15th day of the first lunar month, thousands of tourists were present at the seal distribution points to receive lucky seals for the first day of the year.

Despite the heavy rain, there were still many visitors waiting to receive the seal. Many of them even stayed overnight.

According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, this year, the distribution of the prints will take place throughout January and may extend into February. More than 300,000 prints have been prepared to serve the needs of the people and tourists from all over the world.
