TPO - It is unclear why the iron fences on the median strip of Giai Phong Street ( Hanoi ) were suddenly removed, with some sections even uprooted completely. These iron fences were regularly painted and looked new, yet they were removed without any notice. Not only are residents puzzled, but even authorities such as the Traffic Inspectorate and the Traffic Police are unaware of the fate of these fences.

Giai Phong Road is currently one of the widest roads (8 lanes) with well-developed infrastructure, including iron fences in the median strip that have been in place for many years, both to prevent people from crossing the road illegally and to enhance the landscape.

At night, the lack of warning lights poses a risk of collisions and accidents for road users.

Speaking to a reporter from Tien Phong newspaper, representatives from the Traffic Inspection Teams (Hanoi Department of Transport) and Traffic Police Team No. 14 of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department stated that they had not received any information or notification about the incident. Because the digging of holes and removal of fences occurred on the road and affected traffic, the Hoang Mai Traffic Inspection Team announced that they will investigate and clarify the matter today.
