Giai Phong Street is currently one of the widest roads (8 lanes) with synchronous infrastructure, including an iron fence in the median strip that has been erected for many years to both prevent people from crossing the street and create scenery.

The iron fence was erected along the entire route (except for the three-way and four-way intersections) for a length of about 4.5 km (starting from Nuoc Ngam bus station to Bach Khoa University), but in recent days it has been pulled down, taken down, and taken away, and people do not know where.

According to Tien Phong reporters' records yesterday morning and today (November 26), the iron fence panels were pulled down at night, leaving only the stakes in the morning, and then the remaining stakes were pulled down during the day.

The iron fence on the median strip of Giai Phong Street was uprooted, but along the entire route, road users did not see a single sign or information board about the incident.

Currently, the iron fence from Nuoc Ngam bus station has been pulled down and taken down to Giap Bat.

The uprooted iron fence has left a bare median strip, its surface riddled with holes, and has forced pedestrians to ignore traffic to cross the street anywhere.

At the locations where the fences have just been dug up are temporary construction site fences located right on the road.

Nighttime is an obstacle, a risk of collision and accident for traffic participants because the fence does not have warning lights as prescribed.

Informing Tien Phong reporter, representatives of the Traffic Inspection Teams (Hanoi Department of Transport) and Traffic Police Team No. 14 of Hanoi Traffic Police Department said that they have not received any information or notification about the above incident. Because the digging of holes and removal of fences occurred on the road and affected traffic, today, the Hoang Mai Traffic Inspection Team said that they will go to inspect and clarify the incident.
