
Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Deputy Director of the Department and Chairman of the Department's Trade Union, presented commemorative flags to the participating teams at the Sports Festival.
The sports festival featured four competitive events: men's and women's recreational volleyball, lemon passing, and piggy bank smashing. The results for men's and women's recreational volleyball were as follows: First place went to Hau Giang Newspaper, second place to Viettel Hau Giang, and joint third place to Hau Giang Provincial Post Office and Hau Giang Radio and Television Station.
In the lemon-passing with spoons competition: First prize went to the joint team of the Provincial Post Office and VNPT Hau Giang; second prize went to the joint team of the Department of Information and Communications - Hau Giang Radio and Television Station; and third prize was shared by the joint teams of Hau Giang Newspaper and Viettel Hau Giang, Mobifone Hau Giang and FPT Hau Giang. No prizes were awarded in the blindfolded piggy bank smashing competition because the participants had already received their rewards in the form of money placed inside the piggy banks.
Later that afternoon, a gathering of officials and employees from the Information and Communications sector took place at the Department of Information and Communications, featuring a cooking competition themed "Connecting with Love." Each participating team consisted of four members (two men and two women) who showcased their culinary skills and knowledge to complete their competition dish within 120 minutes. The results were as follows: First prize went to the Department of Information and Communications and Hau Giang Radio and Television Station; second prize to Mobifone Hau Giang andFPT Hau Giang; and third prize was shared by the joint teams of the Provincial Post Office, VNPT Hau Giang, and Hau Giang Newspaper and Viettel Hau Giang.
