Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 duo this summer. Previous reports have revealed that the duo will bring some impressive improvements such as a redesigned hinge, a larger battery, and a quality 200MP camera. And recently, the 3C certification agency has just revealed the charging technology of this duo.
According to the 3C certification, the two new devices will have model numbers SM-F7660 and SM-F9660, which have been tested with the EP-TA800 charger. This charger supports a maximum output power of 25W.
Based on the model number, analysts say these are the Z Flip7 and Z Fold7 duo. While this does not confirm that 25W is the maximum charging speed, it is not impossible as the predecessor model also supports 25W fast charging.
Previously, leaks revealed: Galaxy Z Flip7 will likely have a larger battery of 4,300mAh (Z Flip6 has a 4,000mAh battery) while Galaxy Z Fold7 will have the same battery of 4,400mAh.
Both will have larger screens: the Z Flip7 is said to have a 6.85-inch folding screen and a 4-inch outer screen, while the Z Fold7 is expected to have a 6.5-inch outer screen and an 8.2-inch foldable screen.
Galaxy Club page said that the camera system of Galaxy Z Fold7 includes: 200MP main camera using the same sensor as Galaxy S25 Ultra, 12MP super wide-angle camera, 10MP telephoto sensor, 10MP selfie camera on the outer screen and improved selfie camera hidden under the main screen.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 has a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB/512GB of internal storage. The device will measure 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9mm (9.1mm at the camera bump).
The duo is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip similar to the Galaxy S25 series, promising to deliver superior performance over the previous generation as well as more energy efficiency.
Samsung is likely to release the Galaxy Z Fold7 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip7 next July.
