The Japan Association of Commercial Photographers visited and held a working meeting with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

(NADS) - On the morning of September 25th, in Hanoi , the Japan Association of Commercial Photographers visited and held a working meeting with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists at the Association's headquarters. Mr. Hayashi Yoshiaki, President of the Japan Association of Commercial Photographers, led the delegation.

The leaders of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists who welcomed the delegation included: National Assembly Deputy and Photographic Artist Tran Thi Thu Dong, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations , and President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; and Journalist and Photographic Artist Ho Sy Minh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Editor-in-Chief of Photography and Life Magazine.

Representing the Japan Association of Commercial Photographers on this visit were three Vice Presidents: Mr. Yoshida Kazumasa, Mr. Ichikawa Hiroyuki, and Mr. Matsumoto Shusaku; and Mr. Sato Yasuhiro, President of the Japan Association of Photographic Institutes and former President of the Japan Association of Commercial Photographers, along with four other members of the delegation.

On behalf of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, President Tran Thi Thu Dong was pleased to welcome the delegation from the Japan Association of Commercial Photographers to Vietnam for their visit and working session. During the meeting, President Tran Thi Thu Dong provided the delegation with an overview of Vietnamese photography, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, and the role of photography in promoting the image of Vietnam to the international community.

Mr. Hayashi Yoshiaki, President of the Japan Commercial Photographers Association, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

Mr. Hayashi Yoshiaki, President of the Japan Commercial Photographers Association, also expressed his pleasure at visiting, working with, and interacting with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

"We hope to share valuable experiences in the field of photography, exchange ideas on new trends in the industry, and learn more about the school photography market in Vietnam. At the same time, we are very eager to learn from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists about the achievements, challenges, and opportunities that the Vietnamese photography industry is facing in the current context," Mr. Hayashi Yoshiaki shared at the meeting.

The two sides also exchanged information and introduced the functions and tasks of photography and the Photography Associations of their respective countries; shared information about programs and activities related to the development of photography; and created conditions and an environment to foster creativity and innovation for photographers.

Chairwoman Tran Thi Thu Dong expressed her belief that the meeting would contribute to enhancing mutual understanding of the organization, activities, and role of photography in both countries, while further strengthening and developing the cooperative relationship between the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and the Japan Association of Commercial Photographers. This would contribute to the development of photography in both countries and strengthen the traditional friendship between the governments and peoples of Vietnam and Japan.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed on several important points to promote photographic relations between the two countries.
