After being outraged by the news that students who spread a clip of a teacher dragging a female student to kneel and cry in front of the classroom could be subject to disciplinary action by the school if they violate cybersecurity laws, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hien, Principal of Da Phuc High School, Soc Son, Hanoi, shared with the press that the school did not verify the students who filmed it and forwarded it to others, and that no student in the school posted the video online.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Hien affirmed that the clip incident has ended, students can study with peace of mind.

Previously, in the report on the incident of a female student kneeling and crying until exhausted in front of the classroom door sent to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training on September 30, Da Phuc High School said that at around 8:00 p.m. on September 29, there was information from a teacher reporting that the clip was spreading online. The school principal reported to the town police chief and the district security deputy to ask for help removing the posts.
On the morning of September 30, Mr. Hien invited two students of class 12D4 involved to the principal's office to work, asking the class to verify that the students filmed the clip from inside the classroom. Student D.VT confirmed that he filmed the clip from inside the teacher's podium and sent it to two classmates.
As reported by the Lao Dong Newspaper, speaking to the press, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hien said the school will wait for the police's conclusion and take disciplinary action in the case of the teacher dragging students in front of the classroom door.
Principal Nguyen Duy Hien also said that the video's dissemination has affected the school's image and the psychology of many students.
On the morning of September 30, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hien went directly to class 12D4 to analyze for students the harmful effects of spreading videos.
According to the Principal of Da Phuc High School, if the police conclude that there is a violation of the Law on Cyber Security, the school will handle it strictly according to the provisions of the law.
Mr. Hien also said that the school only allows students to use phones for study purposes. Using phones for purposes other than study will certainly violate the regulations and require warnings and appropriate handling.
