The 319th Corporation of the Ministry of National Defence has just commenced construction on the social housing project in Uy No commune, Dong Anh district (Hanoi). This is one of the rare social housing projects in Hanoi to be started this year. Previously, on December 5th, the social housing project at plot NO1 in the Ha Dinh new urban area, Tan Trieu commune, Thanh Tri district (Hanoi) also commenced construction with a scale of 440 apartments.
The social housing project in Uy No commune, Dong Anh district ( Hanoi ) is the first project of General Corporation 319 in the field of social housing construction, with a total investment of over 630 billion VND.
The social housing project in Uy Nỗ commune is being built on a 15,286m2 plot of land, with 4 blocks of 9-story buildings plus 1 basement level; a total of 466 apartments (ranging from 40m2 to 76.7m2), expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Reportedly, the Uy Nỗ social housing project is located within the Uy Nỗ housing complex (commercial name Calyx Residence), developed by General Corporation 319. The project is situated on land previously occupied by the Air Force Technical College on Cổ Loa Street, Uy Nỗ, with a total project area of 9.86 hectares.
The Calyx Residence project also includes approximately 244 townhouses and shophouses.
According to our reporter's observations, many townhouses and shophouses at the Calyx Residence project in Uy No commune (Dong Anh district) remain unoccupied. These townhouses are being offered for sale on the market at prices ranging from 140-150 million VND/m2.
According to our reporter's observations, the land for the Uy Nỗ commune social housing project has had its technical infrastructure built, and there are some construction machines inside the project.
The developer is also having workers erect barriers around the project site to ensure safety during construction.
According to a report by the Hanoi Department of Construction, the city currently has 69 social housing projects that have been or are being implemented. Of these, approximately 0.64 million square meters of social housing floor space, comprising over 10,270 apartments, have been completed since 2021, with 8 projects fully completed and 3 projects partially completed.
