Coach Park Hang-seo officially joins a 'strange' team and has a 'huge' plan

Former Vietnam national team head coach Park Hang-seo has signed a contract to become a senior advisor to Bac Ninh FC. The newly established Bac Ninh FC is expected to prepare to participate in the national second division in 2024.

The Quan Ho football team promises to be a new giant in Vietnamese football. It is known that this brand new club has spent a lot of money to invite coach Park Hang-seo. In addition, the leadership of Bac Ninh Club also has a "huge" plan, when spending a huge amount of money, millions of USD, to operate the team.

With a large investment, Bac Ninh Club is renovating Tu Son Stadium to make it their home ground and establishing their own youth training center. In which, Coach Park Hang-seo will take on the role of guiding the future, supporting youth training and operating the club according to international standards. The goal of the Quan Ho team is to participate in the highest football playground in Vietnam, V-League.

Former SLNA head coach Ngo Quang Truong will lead Bac Ninh club. To prepare for the new season, this team will recruit a number of players with experience playing in the V-League. Notable faces include former U.23 Vietnam center back Dao Duy Khanh, who played for Quang Nam club, Than Quang Ninh club, Hanoi club and Hai Phong club. In addition, former SLNA club captain Nguyen Quang Tinh also played for Bac Ninh club.

Regarding Coach Park Hang-seo, recently, there has been a lot of information about his future. Coach Park Hang-seo started working in Vietnam in 2017. After 5 years of working, Mr. Park is considered the most successful coach in the history of Vietnamese football. The name of the Korean coach is associated with many outstanding achievements such as bringing U.23 Vietnam to the final of the 2018 U.23 Asian Cup, winning 2 consecutive SEA Games gold medals in 2019 and 2022.

At the national team level, coach Park Hang-seo led the Vietnamese team to win the 2018 AFF Cup, reach the quarter-finals of the 2019 Asian Cup and especially enter the final qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup in Asia for the first time.
