From July 2024, the entire Dong Da Lake area (also known as Hoang Cau Lake in Dong Da District) will be fenced to implement the Dong Da Lake Urban Landscape Infrastructure Improvement Project. The project has a total investment of more than 297 billion VND. The winning contractor is Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (VINACONEX).

After renovation, Dong Da Lake will have an area on the lake surface, this area is located near the lake peninsula.

This promenade has an outdoor space, which serves as a landscape highlight and also serves as a 1,000-person performance stage when events are held.

Notably, the Dong Da Lake peninsula area was renovated into a square, with trees, a place to place the Vietnam - France symbol, and at the same time organize service facilities and sales kiosks.

After renovation, Dong Da lake was divided into 6 areas, damaged and withered trees were proposed to be replaced with Lagerstroemia and Cassia fistula trees.

This person noted that this is not a walking street but Dong Da lake will be a destination for entertainment, relaxation, and sightseeing for residents and tourists.
