Support over 400 tons of fertilizer for households affected by storm Yagi

On December 9, the People's Committee of Tran Yen commune coordinated with the Department of Crop Production, Plant Protection and Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Medicine, and Fisheries of the province to distribute fertilizers to support households affected by the circulation of storm No. 3 (Yagi) in 2024. This is an activity under the post-disaster livelihood recovery program sponsored by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

Commune officials give out coupons to households to receive fertilizer.

During this period, Tran Yen commune has 1,262 households in the former Bao Dap, Hoa Cuong and Minh Quan communes receiving support with a total of over 440 tons of fertilizer, including nitrogen, NPK, potassium, with a total value of nearly 4 billion VND. The capital is sponsored by the Canadian Government through the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

Distribution activities are carried out according to correct procedures, openly and transparently, ensuring that fertilizers reach people in full and on time.

This practical support will help people quickly restore production, stabilize their lives and prepare well for the new crop after the natural disaster. People expressed their excitement and gratitude for the attention of the State, accompanying units and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for timely support in line with their needs.
