The chapter leader is dynamic and enthusiastic.
For over two years working in women's affairs, Ms. Lam Thi Ngan, Head of the Women's Association in Na Lo village, has consistently demonstrated enthusiasm and responsibility in her work, living a humble and simple life, earning the respect and affection of everyone.
Ms. Ngan shared: In order for members and women to trust and listen, the association officials themselves must be exemplary in all activities and movements; especially caring for and supporting women in difficult circumstances. Therefore, for many years, members and women in the village have always enthusiastically participated in activities launched by the association.

With that in mind, Ms. Ngan always puts the gathering and uniting of members and women first; regularly stays close to and shares with women and actively encourages members to participate in activities, well implement the Party's directives and resolutions, policies and laws of the State; especially participate in economic development programs and projects with high efficiency.
Currently, the Women's Association of Na Lo village has 112 members. Annually, through evaluation, 90% of member families achieve the status of "cultural family," and 90% of families meet the criteria of "5 no's and 3 clean's."
Responding to the program "Women join hands to build new rural areas", she and the association mobilized cadres and women members to contribute 1.5 million VND/family and 120 working days to expand the road to the village's production area; mobilized 50 member families to voluntarily donate more than 1,000 m2 of land and dismantle constructions to clear the ground, serving the expansion of the village's main road from 3m to 6m. The association also built 2 model roads on environmental sanitation; effectively maintained the model of the "5 no, 3 clean" model of the Women's Association and took on the project of taking care of the 1km long flower road; propagated members and people to clean up the environment every Saturday morning...

In addition, she regularly grasps the family circumstances of each member and woman, makes a list of difficult households to have a direction to support and help; at the same time, establishes a sick visit fund with 100% of the funding from socialized sources. From this money, each year the Na Lo village women's association has given dozens of gifts to students who have overcome difficulties, to members who have difficulties and sudden illnesses.

Although she has only recently become the head of the women's association branch, Ms. Ngan has gained the trust of the members and contributed to the development of the local women's movement. The Na Lo village women's association branch has been a strong and outstanding branch in recent years.
Passionate about national culture
Ms. Ly Thi Rua - Head of the Women's Association of Khao Sao village is not only an active and enthusiastic association officer but also passionate about ethnic culture, traditional embroidery and beeswax painting of the Mong ethnic group. She proposed to the association and encouraged the women in the association to establish a brocade embroidery and sewing association in Ban Pho, Bac Ha commune.

Ms. Rua shared: Khao Sao village has 100% of the population being Mong people. Brocade weaving has long been associated with the daily life of the Mong people here and has been passed down from generation to generation, carrying the unique culture of Mong women. In recent years, industrial sewing products with many designs and suitable prices have somewhat overshadowed traditional embroidery products. Wishing to preserve and develop the traditional profession and create jobs for women, I cherished the idea of establishing a brocade weaving and embroidery cooperative.
In 2024, with the attention of the Women's Union at all levels and local authorities, the Ban Pho brocade embroidery association in Bac Ha commune was established, with Ms. Ly Thi Rua as Deputy Head. To better understand the market, through the Union, Ms. Rua proactively asked to study experiences in other localities, and at the same time participated in training courses on entrepreneurship and business start-up organized by the Women's Union. She herself also researched and studied on mass media and social networks to learn experiences and improve knowledge for work.

“When it was first established, the association also faced many difficulties such as finding an output market for the products, and the women had no experience, but through the process of operation, it now has 15 members. Thanks to that, the products are made in larger quantities, more diverse, and the income of the members has increased, averaging 2-3 million VND/person/month” - Ms. Ly Thi Rua shared.
In addition to her passion for traditional professions, during her participation in association activities, Ms. Rua has many initiatives and practical actions to further develop the association's activities. She cares about the lives of members, maintains visits and encourages members who are sick or facing difficulties in life. Always exemplary, leading, daring to think and do, taking responsibility for all assigned tasks; regularly propagating to members to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, building a strong association, attracting many members to participate in association activities.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - President of the Women's Union of Bac Ha commune commented: Ms. Ngan and Ms. Rua are 2 of 60 exemplary branch presidents who are dedicated and devoted to the work of the union. The spirit of dedication, enthusiasm and responsibility in work helps the branch presidents always complete the assigned tasks well, contributing to the positive changes of the women's movement in Bac Ha commune.
