On January 19, the Criminal Police Department, Ministry of Public Security , announced that the unit had initiated a case of Prostitution Brokerage, temporarily detaining Do Mai Khanh (31 years old, living in Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi) to investigate the above behavior.
According to authorities, at the investigation headquarters, Khanh confessed that from 2023 until now, through social networks, the suspect has connected and brokered prostitution for many people at prices ranging from 10 million VND to several tens of millions of VND per session.

To carry out prostitution brokerage, Khanh relies on her beauty to communicate and connect with customers. Khanh's customers are usually businessmen and rich people, while the prostitutes are university students and beautiful women who have participated in beauty contests.
When there are customers buying sex, Khanh will send pictures of prostitutes via Zalo for customers to choose.
Police determined that Khanh had earned millions of dong from the above brokerage activities.
On January 10, the Criminal Police Department coordinated with professional units to conduct an administrative inspection at a hotel in Trung Hoa ward, Cau Giay district, catching many couples in the act of buying and selling sex, through Khanh's mediation.
According to the Criminal Police Department, Khanh was once a "Miss Gym" beauty with the stage name "Khanh My". The suspect participated in many beauty contests with a large number of followers on social networking sites.
