(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The "Hanoi Concert: Winter Concert" will take place on December 13th at the Hanoi Opera House, aiming to spread the love of classical music to a wide audience in the capital city, especially the younger generation.
Hanoi Concert: A winter concert organized by Hanoi Radio and Television. The program promises to bring audiences a night of classical music through the perspective and performance of young, passionate, and ambitious artists.
Throughout the concert were performances by the Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra (VYO) and the Binh Minh Choir, under the direction of Conductor - Dr. Phan Do Phuc, with arrangements by Singaporean composer Alex Oon and composer Dang Huu Phuc.

VYO is the first multinational youth symphony orchestra in Vietnam for teenagers aged 12 to 22 who share a passion for music.
Launched to the public in 2022, VYO is a place where members discover the lifelong joy of playing music and become global citizens with a deep appreciation for the arts, regardless of their future career choices.
Conductor - Dr. Phan Do Phuc (born 1990) has achieved many successes worldwide as a soloist, ensemble musician, and orchestral performer.
He has served as principal cellist for numerous prestigious American and international orchestras, including the Napa Valley Festival Orchestra, the Pacific Music Festival Orchestra, the New York Classical Player Orchestra, and the Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra.
In 2020, after graduating with honors with a PhD in cello performance from Stony Brook University (New York), Phan Do Phuc returned to Vietnam and took on the role of principal cellist for the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) and the Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO).
Since 2022, Phan Đỗ Phúc has been the first conductor of VYO. More recently, he became the Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Young Musicians Institute (VYMI).

According to the organizers, the Winter Concert will feature many classical works such as: Antonio Vivaldi's Violin Concerto "Winter" - Movement 1 ; Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5 ; and Sleigh Ride...
And Vietnamese folk pieces: "Threading the Needle ," arranged for symphony orchestra by composer Tran Manh Hung; and "Fragrant Flowers and Fluttering Butterflies, " with familiar, warm melodies blended with the sound of the string section.
In particular, with a winter theme, the program It also features familiar songs by composers Trinh Cong Son and Pham Trong Cau, promising to evoke profound emotions and touch the hearts of music lovers.
Hanoi Concert: Winter Concert will be broadcast live on HN1, FM96, the Hanoi On app, and other digital platforms of Hanoi Radio and Television Station.
