Master - Doctor Pham Thi Kieu Trang, Head of the Department of Intensive Care - Anti-Poison, said that on July 10, Ngoc was hospitalized with high fever, sepsis, severe diabetic ketoacidosis, chin cellulitis, acidosis, poor appetite, high blood pressure, and developmental disorder (autism).
The baby has just been transferred to the Department of Surgery, Anesthesia and Resuscitation for surgery, incision and drainage of pus due to cellulitis. The hospital stay is expected to be very long, the cost of treatment for baby Ngoc is very high, while the baby does not have a health insurance card, and the family's circumstances are extremely difficult.
Her father is paralyzed and has been bedridden for many years and cannot work. Her mother had to quit her job to take care of her at the hospital. Ngoc's 18-year-old brother is the only worker in the family. His unstable job is not enough to cover the living expenses and medicine for his father and younger sister. The family is almost financially exhausted and is no longer able to manage while the treatment is prolonged.
Dong Nai Children's Hospital earnestly calls for the cooperation of benefactors, philanthropists, and charitable organizations near and far to help Ngoc overcome this dangerous period. Every contribution, no matter how small, is a priceless gift, bringing a chance to live to a child in dire need of treatment.
