The difficult situation of a 14-year-old girl with many serious illnesses

According to Dr. Pham Thi Kieu Trang, Head of the Intensive Care and Toxicology Department, on July 10th, baby Ngoc was admitted to the hospital with a high fever, sepsis, severe diabetic ketoacidosis, cellulitis in the chin area, metabolic acidosis, poor appetite, high blood pressure, and a developmental disorder (autism).

The child has just been transferred to the Department of Anesthesia and Resuscitation Surgery for surgery to drain pus due to cellulitis. A long hospital stay is expected, and the treatment costs for Ngoc are very high, while she does not have health insurance and her family is in extremely difficult circumstances.

My father has been paralyzed and bedridden for many years, unable to work. My mother had to quit her job to be by my side at the hospital to care for me. My older brother, 18 years old, is the only breadwinner in the family, but his work as a laborer is unstable and doesn't provide enough to cover living expenses and medication for my father and sister. My family is almost completely financially exhausted and unable to cope while the treatment is ongoing.

Dong Nai Children's Hospital earnestly appeals for the support of benefactors, philanthropists, and charitable organizations near and far to help little Ngoc overcome this critical period. Every contribution, no matter how small, is a priceless gift, offering a chance of survival for a child in dire need of treatment.
