Dong Nai expands opportunities for businesses to access high technology.

(Dong Nai) - On December 10th, the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province, in coordination with the Center for Promoting the Development of the Science and Technology Market (Ministry of Science and Technology), organized a conference to introduce policies and procedures for certifying high-tech activities: Opportunities for innovative businesses.

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, along with nearly 100 delegates representing departments, agencies, and businesses in Dong Nai province.

The conference heard presentations from experts on the following topics: Policies and development orientations for high technology and innovation; Procedures and processes for certifying high-tech enterprises; The role of Dong Nai province and opportunities for businesses in high-tech development.

The delegates also focused on discussing related issues such as: What businesses need to prepare when participating in high-tech development; the roadmap for upgrading research, development and intellectual property capabilities; common difficulties encountered when preparing certification applications; the needs for technological innovation support of local businesses; and the roles of management agencies, intermediary organizations, and businesses.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, emphasized: High technology is becoming an important foundation for economic growth. Dong Nai is a key industrial province and a destination for many domestic and foreign corporations. Keeping pace with high-tech trends and enhancing research, development, and innovation capabilities is an urgent requirement.

Through the conference, businesses gained a clearer understanding of opportunities to transform their production models, gradually access high technology, and boldly participate in technology innovation programs. Simultaneously, it strengthened connections between businesses, universities, and management agencies, thereby forming a robust innovation ecosystem in Dong Nai. The Department is committed to continuing to support businesses in their innovation process, technology access, and enhancing their competitiveness.
