Complete repair of National Highway 45 through Thanh Hoa in 2024

The Ministry of Transport said that National Highway 45 (QL45) from Thieu Hoa town to Thieu Long commune, Thanh Hoa province (Thieu Long commune from Km 54+500 - Km 57+700; Thieu Hoa town from Km 57+700 - Km 63+800) passes through a densely populated area. The road surface is currently cracked, sunken, and waterlogged when it rains.

To address the above situation, the Ministry of Transport has approved and allocated capital for repairs in the national highway system maintenance plan for 2024.

In particular, repairing damaged roadbed and surface in section Km 54+400 - Km 59+300; repairing longitudinal ditch in section Km 36+215 - Km 36+540 (left side of the route); Km 52+880 - Km 53+500 (left side of the route); Km 54+980 - Km 55+500 (right side of the route); Km 56+520 - Km 59+200 (left side of the route).

"The repair project started in July 2024 and is expected to be completed in 2024," the Ministry of Transport added.
