Complete repair of National Highway 45 through Thanh Hoa in 2024

The Ministry of Transport has stated that National Highway 45 (QL45), from Thieu Hoa town to Thieu Long commune in Thanh Hoa province (Thieu Long commune from Km 54+500 to Km 57+700; Thieu Hoa town from Km 57+700 to Km 63+800), passes through a densely populated area. The road surface currently shows signs of cracking, subsidence, and water accumulation during rainfall.

Voters in Thanh Hoa province have requested the repair of National Highway 45 through Thieu Hoa district to ensure traffic safety for people and vehicles (illustrative image).

To address the aforementioned situation, the Ministry of Transport has approved and allocated funds for repairs in the 2024 national highway system maintenance plan.

Specifically, repairs will be carried out on damaged roadbeds and surfaces from Km 54+400 to Km 59+300; and on drainage ditches from Km 36+215 to Km 36+540 (left side); Km 52+880 to Km 53+500 (left side); Km 54+980 to Km 55+500 (right side); and Km 56+520 to Km 59+200 (left side).

"The repair work commenced in July 2024 and is expected to be completed in 2024," the Ministry of Transport added.
