
According to Le Anh Quan, Vice Chairman of the Central Youth Union Council and Director of the Vietnam Children's Support and Development Center, the fact that the competition attracted a large number of entries shows that it has become a major forum for children to confidently express their understanding of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and their gratitude to the generations of ancestors who sacrificed their lives and blood for the independence of the nation.
Commenting on the quality of the entries, Comrade Le Anh Quan said: this year, there were many entries of good quality, meticulously presented with many creative ideas, rich content, lively form, closely adhering to the theme, and many works using rare and valuable stamp sets.
As a result, the organizing committee awarded 45 individual prizes, including 1 special prize, 2 first prizes, 7 second prizes, 15 third prizes, and 20 consolation prizes. The special prize was awarded to Dang Le Gia Nhi, class 8/3, Kim Dong Secondary School (Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province).
In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 25 collective prizes to units with the highest number of entries and the most entries winning top prizes. Among these, 5 collective A prizes went to the Youth Councils of Quang Nam, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Nam Dinh provinces and Hai Phong city.

The competition is a practical activity organized by the Central Youth Union Council, the Vietnam Children's Support and Development Center, in coordination with the Vietnam Post Corporation and the Vietnam Philatelic Association, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
