Students from Thai Binh province win prizes in the national reading culture ambassador competition.

On the morning of October 24th, in Phu Tho province, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony to summarize and award prizes for the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest. Thai Binh province was honored to have one student receive a consolation prize.
Bui Hoang Yen, a 5th-grade student from An Dong Primary School (Quynh Phu district), received an encouragement award at the 2024 National Reading Culture Ambassador competition.
Among the six winning entries from the 2024 Thai Binh Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest selected to participate in the national competition, the entry by Bui Hoang Yen, a 5th-grade student from An Dong Primary School (Quynh Phu District), received an encouragement award. At the 2024 provincial competition, Bui Hoang Yen won first prize and a special award for best continuation of a story. Prior to that, at the 2023 provincial competition, Bui Hoang Yen also won first prize and a special award for best story promoting reading.
Over the years, An Dong Primary School (Quynh Phu District) has been one of the exemplary schools in developing a reading culture among students. It was the first school in the province to receive the Reading Culture Development Award from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2023.
