According to To Thi Hai Yen, the principal of Giang Vo Secondary School, the Google digital classroom model will be implemented in the new school year 2025-2026 for grade 6 students.
Specifically, the school plans to organize three model classes: class 6A1 - a class focusing on Vietnamese language and literature, class 6A6 - a class focusing on mathematics, and class 6A9 - a class focusing on English.

Each student participating in a Google digital classroom uses their own laptop or tablet and is provided with a separate account. Students use the devices under the supervision of the teacher to participate in educational activities, ensuring the safety and security of information and controlling content across all devices.
The teachers in these three model classes are 100% Google-certified (Google Certified Educator Level 1); they are proficient in using the Google Workspace for Education ecosystem – a suite of Google tools and services specifically designed for schools from elementary to university/college level – and effectively apply AI in organizing educational activities.
Teachers utilize digital tools and Google tools in their lesson plans, assignments, review sessions, tests, student assessments, and other educational activities; ensuring content quality and adhering to the innovative direction of the 2018 General Education Program.
The area surrounding the classrooms is equipped with a security camera system that uses facial recognition technology and integrates with the school's database to support student management and attendance tracking. Through this system, parents can quickly access and update information about their children at school.
Starting from the 2026-2027 school year, based on the actual situation, in subsequent school years, the school plans to expand the Google digital classroom model, aiming to build a Google digital school.
During a meeting with the newly appointed People's Committee of Giang Vo Ward and relevant parties, Principal To Thi Hai Yen proposed obtaining an unsecured loan for 170 Chromebooks to enable the organization of Google Digital Classes in the upcoming school year.
She also suggested that partners should promptly organize training for teachers, key personnel, and parents on the new classroom model.
The principal of Giang Vo Secondary School also suggested sending the entire school management board and key staff to Hanoi University of Science and Technology to learn about the digital classroom model in order to gain more experience for implementation at the school.

Mr. Dung affirmed: "Digital transformation is a key task of Giang Vo Ward, especially in education, with Giang Vo Secondary School as the backbone. Units need to urgently proceed to ensure the best conditions for the opening of Google-based digital classes before the start of the new school year."
"Google Reference School" is an award recognizing schools that excel in using Google tools to improve the quality of education.
This is a pioneering model in educational innovation and the effective use of technology to support teachers and students in the learning process, helping to develop essential digital skills.
