Ha Giang has impressive academic achievements: average high school score of 9.56, IELTS certificate of 8.0, won many city and national awards, notably: third prize and consolation prize in English in the national excellent student competition (2024, 2025); first and second prize in the provincial excellent student competition; gold and silver medals in the April 30 Olympic; first place in grade 12 nationwide in the English Olympic competition on the internet in 2025.
With impressive achievements, Ha Giang chose to pursue Digital Design at Van Lang University - a private university famous for training in Design - Fine Arts. This is a choice that Giang has cherished for a long time.
Realizing her love for drawing early, Ha Giang cultivated and studied for many years. At the age of 14, she officially became a freelance illustrator, collaborating with the psychology channel Psych2Go (Canada). Outside of school hours, Giang is the Head of the school's design department, actively participating in creative projects and artistic activities.

Since deciding to pursue a professional drawing career, Ha Giang spent time researching design schools nationwide and was impressed with Van Lang University through the stories of drawing teachers, relatives and seniors.
Ha Giang said that she learned about the training program herself and was impressed with the neat and creative projects of the design students at Van Lang University. She also realized that for many years, the university's students have represented Vietnam in the World Graphic Design Championship, demonstrating the practical training capacity. Van Lang University knew that this was a Vietnamese university ranked in the top 51-100 in the world for Performing Arts and top 101-150 for Design according to QS Rankings.
"My biggest wish when studying at university is to continue to practice my art skills, especially in the field of professional 2D animation. I am confident that I can become a talented animator, contributing to the creation of vivid animated films," Ha Giang shared.
In July 2025, Van Lang University announced the first 35 candidates expected to receive a 100 million VND talent scholarship, including Le Hong Ha Giang. Giang shared in her application letter: "Having someone to guide you on your learning path is extremely important, and for me, Van Lang University is where I can find that support. Introduced to the school by friends early on, I was extremely impressed with the school's teaching capacity and expertise in general subjects and the field of fine arts and design in particular. I have always had the dream of becoming a graphic artist and the projects of Van Lang University's fine arts students have inspired me to continue on this path."
On July 13, 2025, Van Lang University honored the first 35 students expected to receive a 100 million VND talent scholarship, selected from nearly 1,200 applications.
"This scholarship will help me get closer to my dream," Giang said.

Of the more than 300 students who have received the Van Lang University Talent Scholarship in 2025 to date, 15% come from specialized schools nationwide, 51% have outstanding foreign language skills and academic achievements.
