Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union participates in the final round of the National Women's Folk Dance and Sports Competition

On the evening of June 21, at the Bac Giang Provincial Sports Stadium, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union coordinated with the People's Committee of Bac Giang Province to organize the 2023 National Women's Folk Dance and Sports Competition with the theme "Healthy and Beautiful Vietnamese Women". Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union is one of the outstanding units participating in the final round of the competition.

The finalists received flowers and souvenir flags from the Organizing Committee.

The contest took place from June 21 to 23. The teams competed in three categories: folk dance, badminton and volleyball. Thanh Hoa Women's Union had 29 contestants competing in two categories: folk dance and volleyball.

In the preliminary round of folk dance, Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union participated in two performances: "Song of Vietnamese Women" and a self-selected medley of "Vietnam's Pride" and "The Fatherland Calls My Name" and excellently entered the final round. At the same time, the Provincial Women's Union registered to compete in volleyball.

Comrade Ngo Thi Hong Hao, Provincial Party Committee member, President of the Provincial Women's Union, saw off the delegation participating in the final competition.

After a period of enthusiastic practice and participation in exchanges with a number of units to practice skills and improve techniques, the delegation of the Provincial Women's Union presented the audience with gentle, energetic folk dances, with graceful and decisive movements, exuding the pure and gentle beauty of women; in the volleyball competition, the contestants presented many beautiful moves, creating excitement for the audience and the judges.

The contest aims to continue spreading the pride of the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women, lighting up in each cadre and member the love for the homeland and country, the determination to join hands and unite with the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the province to realize the aspiration for prosperity, building Thanh Hoa into a "model" province of the whole country.
