Conference to review the Construction zoning plan for Zone 1 under the General planning project for the construction of the coastal tourist area in the South of the province

On November 27, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to provide social feedback on the zoning plan for construction (scale 1/2000) of Zone 1 of the area with code number 1 of the master plan for construction of the southern coastal tourist area of ​​the province (referred to as the plan). Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference; attending were experts and members of the Advisory Council of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The project was planned by the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Civil and Industrial Works, covering an area of ​​139.65 hectares, with a projected population of about 13,303 people. The planning area belongs to Dao Long Ward (Phan Rang - Thap Cham City) with an area of ​​57.95 hectares and to An Hai Commune (Ninh Phuoc) with an area of ​​81.7 hectares. In particular, the North borders Dinh River, the South borders An Hai residential area and production land, the West borders Dao Long Ward residential area, the East borders An Hai Commune agricultural area. The objective of the project is to concretize the General Planning Project for the construction of the province's coastal tourism area until 2035; take advantage of the existing infrastructure and invest in additional missing items, promote land use potential; orient the organization of sustainable development space; Forming a new modern urban area, exploiting natural landscapes, natural conditions and unique identity but ensuring synchronous connection and technical infrastructure to form a green, ecological and smart urban area; legal basis for detailed planning, determining construction investment projects, construction management and urban development control.

Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the social criticism conference.

At the conference, delegates contributed comments and feedback on a number of contents: Supplementing the assessment of impacts on the development of the planning area; ensuring consistency and synchronization of factors between the Project and previous plans and projects; thoroughly assessing the environmental impact when implementing the project, especially the Dinh River water source; demonstrating the effectiveness of the Project on the material and spiritual life of people in the planning area...

In his concluding remarks, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee agreed on the necessity of issuing the Project, thereby contributing to the overall socio -economic development of the province. He requested the planning agencies, organizations, and consulting units to absorb and select opinions to complete the Project. In particular, it is necessary to strictly comply with legal regulations in planning and zoning work; explain the reasons for planning the project in the above area; clarify the current situation of issues on: Economy, society, culture for the overall development of the area; propose solutions to handle flooding in the planning area; land use planning work needs to bring harmonious benefits to the State, businesses and people; it is necessary to explain the feasibility of the planning when approved by competent authorities.
