Today, more than 950,000 students across the province enter the new school year.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Today (September 5), along with millions of students nationwide, more than 950,000 students in Thanh Hoa province joyfully welcomed the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026.

This year, the opening ceremony of the new school year was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) at the same time as the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training ). The ceremony took place from 8:00 to 9:30 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television and connected online to all educational institutions, from kindergarten to university nationwide.

In order for the opening ceremony to take place solemnly and on schedule, the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa has directed and guided schools to best prepare conditions from facilities to human resources to serve the new school year. From 7:15 a.m. to 7:55 a.m., schools in the province will gather, stabilize their organization, welcome new students; perform welcoming performances (if any); declare the reason, introduce delegates; and deliver a speech welcoming the new school year by the school principal. From 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School (Hac Thanh Ward) will participate in the online bridge to connect and transmit images and the atmosphere of the opening ceremony to the main bridge. For the remaining educational institutions in the province, follow the celebration and opening of the 2025-2026 school year on VTV1 channel, Vietnam Television.

September 5 is also the first day of school of semester I, school year 2025-2026.
