More than 100 players compete at the NovaWorld National Tennis Championship

On the morning of October 13, the Department of Physical Training and Sports (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Vietnam Tennis Federation; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province and NovaGroup to organize the National Tennis Championship at NovaWorld Phan Thiet (Tien Thanh ward).

This year’s tournament brings together more than 100 professional tennis players from 14 strong units and clubs nationwide, competing from October 13-19. Athletes compete in 5 events: Men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.

The NovaWorld 2025 National Tennis Championship is an important event to select athletes representing Vietnam to participate in the SEA Games. This year's tournament is held at NovaWorld International Tennis Complex, with an international standard tennis court system including 14 Laykold courts, 4 mobile roof courts and a modern clubhouse, invested according to international standards.

Many clubs from the provinces participate in the tournament.

After this year's tournament, NovaGroup and NovaSports will coordinate with the Vietnam Tennis Federation to organize a series of 7 tournaments under the World Tennis Federation system, including: 2 international U18 tournaments, 2 professional women's tournaments, and 2 professional men's tournaments.

In particular, NovaWorld Phan Thiet will host the Billie Jean King Cup Group 3 - Asia Region, with the participation of teams from: Vietnam, Laos, Maldives, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Bhutan, Bahrain, Jordan.... This will be the first time the Vietnam national women's tennis team competes at NovaWorld Phan Thiet's home ground.

At the same time, NovaGroup has signed an agreement with ATP Tour to bring 6 ATP Challenger 50 tournaments for the world's top 250 tennis players into the competition system from 2026 and cooperated with the Alexander Waske International Tennis Academy (Germany) to organize international training camps for young athletes.
