More than 100 players compete at the NovaWorld National Tennis Championship

On the morning of October 13, the Department of Physical Training and Sports (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Vietnam Tennis Federation; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province and NovaGroup to organize the National Tennis Championship at NovaWorld Phan Thiet (Tien Thanh ward).

This year's tournament brings together over 100 professional tennis players from 14 strong organizations and clubs nationwide, competing from October 13-19. The athletes will compete in five categories: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles.

The NovaWorld National Tennis Championship 2025 is a crucial event for selecting athletes to represent Vietnam at the SEA Games. This year's tournament is being held at the NovaWorld International Tennis Complex, featuring a system of international-standard tennis courts including 14 Laykold courts, 4 retractable-roof courts, and a modern clubhouse, all built to international standards.

Many clubs from the provinces participated in the tournament.

Following this year's tournament, NovaGroup and NovaSports will collaborate with the Vietnam Tennis Federation to organize a series of 7 tournaments under the World Tennis Federation system, including: 2 international U18 tournaments, 2 professional women's tournaments, and 2 professional men's tournaments.

Notably, NovaWorld Phan Thiet will host the Billie Jean King Cup Group 3 - Asia Region, with participation from teams from Vietnam, Laos, Maldives, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Bhutan, Bahrain, Jordan, and others. This will also be the first time the Vietnamese women's national tennis team competes on home soil at NovaWorld Phan Thiet.

Simultaneously, NovaGroup has signed an agreement with the ATP Tour to include six ATP Challenger 50 tournaments for players ranked in the top 250 in the world into its competition system starting in 2026, and is collaborating with the Alexander Waske International Tennis Academy (Germany) to organize international training camps for young athletes.
