According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the festival aims to help students access real-life career environments early, discover their own abilities, and limit the situation of choosing a major based on emotions in the context of a rapidly changing labor market due to digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
As part of the program, students attended the talkshow “Preparing mindset and startup plan” with the sharing of young entrepreneurs, experts and teachers. The speakers highlighted the professions that are strongly affected by AI, and emphasized important skill groups such as flexible thinking, self-management and teamwork.

Thuy Ha, a student in class B11-09 at Nguyen Huu Tien High School, shared: "I am quite interested in English language because my dream is to study English. With the help of my seniors, I feel very happy and meaningful because today I know what career I like and whether it is suitable for the future."

In addition, the career orientation test introduced at the fair helps students identify their personality groups, interests and career suitability, an important tool in the admission preparation stage. "I want to learn about some innovative industries, such as multimedia communications and design. Through this fair, I have somewhat visualized the job that suits my interests," said Nguyen Thao Minh, a 12A4 student at Le Thi Hong Gam High School.

The highlight of this year’s festival is the system of experiential classes in economic -management, communications, tourism, design-architecture, technology and health sectors. The classes are modeled as “career slices”, helping students directly observe work processes, test basic skills and visualize the working environment before developing startup ideas.

Economics students designed their own landing pages and simulated sales on international e-commerce platforms; the tourism group played the role of tour guides, handling situations in a simulated environment; the media group experienced photography, visual storytelling and learned about the role of brand communication in startups.
In the design and architecture group, students practice sketching, drawing chibi, making stop-motion films and observing AI technology to help them develop ideas. The health sector creates opportunities for students to practice measuring vital signs, caring for newborns, performing tests and researching the application of natural compounds in cosmetics.

Master. PhD. Tran Thuy Tram Quyen, Vice Principal of Hong Bang International University (HIU) said: "The activities are designed for students to "touch the profession", thereby assessing their suitability. The combination of experience and orientation assessment tools helps students form a solid career mindset right from high school", Ms. Tram Quyen emphasized.

After the starting point at Marie Curie High School, the Festival to support students with startup ideas will continue to take place at UKA Ba Ria Bilingual School (Ba Ria Ward) and Trinh Hoai Duc High School (Thuan An Ward), expected to reach more than 10,000 students in the city.

This year's Student Startup Support Day continues to be a space to spread the spirit of creativity, entrepreneurship and social responsibility, contributing to forming a generation of dynamic students, ready to integrate and adapt to new career trends.
