On the morning of November 1, at Quy Nhon College of Technology (Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh), the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Dinh province organized the opening ceremony of the 1st Sports and Physical Training Festival; National DefenseEducation (GDQP) and Security Sports Festival of vocational education institutions in Binh Dinh province in 2023.
Attending these two sports events were more than 310 athletes who were managers, teachers, students and trainees of 19 vocational education institutions and institutions participating in vocational education activities in Binh Dinh province.

Accordingly, athletes participating in the Sports Festival will compete in the following sports: football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and chess.
Athletes participating in the National Defense and Security Sports Festival competed in the following events: squad formation, grenade throwing, AK submachine gun shooting lesson 1 on the MBT-03 shooting machine, armed running with an AK submachine gun, and disassembling and assembling an AK submachine gun.

According to Mr. Dang Van Phung, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Dinh province and Principal of Quy Nhon College of Technology, training and improving the quality of human resources is one of the key tasks that the leaders of this province always pay attention to and direct the implementation. The Resolution of the 20th Congress of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025, has identified training and improving the quality of human resources as one of the three breakthroughs.
Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to and regularly organize activities and emulation movements in vocational education units, in order to create conditions for units and managers, teachers, trainees and students to increase exchanges, share experiences, and share resources for vocational training and learning activities. Thereby, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of vocational training and education in the province.
