On the morning of November 1st, at Quy Nhon College of Technology (Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province), the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Dinh Province held the opening ceremony of the first Sports and Physical Education Festival; and the National Defense and Security Education Festival for vocational education institutions in Binh Dinh Province in 2023.
More than 310 athletes, including administrators, teachers, students, and trainees from 19 vocational education institutions and vocational training centers in Binh Dinh province, participated in these two sports events.

Accordingly, athletes participating in the Sports Festival will compete in the following sports: football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and chess.
The athletes participating in the National Defense and Security Education Sports Festival competed in the following events: squad drill, grenade throwing, AK submachine gun shooting (exercise 1) on the MBT-03 training simulator, armed running with an AK submachine gun, and disassembling and assembling an AK submachine gun.

According to Mr. Dang Van Phung, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Dinh province and concurrently Principal of Quy Nhon College of Technology, training and improving the quality of human resources is one of the key tasks that the provincial leadership always pays attention to and directs the implementation of. The Resolution of the 20th Congress of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025, identified training and improving the quality of human resources as one of the three breakthroughs.
Therefore, it is essential to regularly organize activities and emulation movements within vocational education units to create conditions for units, managers, teachers, trainees, and students to enhance interaction, exchange experiences, and share resources for vocational training and learning. This will contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of vocational training and education in the province.
