On the morning of December 10th, Taekwondo officially commenced in Bangkok, Thailand. On the first day of competition at the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese Taekwondo team competed in four poomsae (forms) events.
After winning six SEA Games gold medals, hot girl Chau Tuyet Van sat in the stands for the first time to cheer on the Vietnamese Taekwondo team.
Present at the Fashion Island arena, female martial artist Chau Tuyet Van sat in the stands with her parents, cheering on the Vietnamese athletes. Having won many gold medals for Vietnam in regional competitions, Tuyet Van said she still felt nervous.
"I've participated in many consecutive SEA Games, so this time it felt different for the audience. I still have the habit of entering the athletes' training and competition area and being stopped by security," Tuyet Van shared.
The female martial artist, born in 1990, added that although she doesn't compete in the SEA Games, she still participates in world tournaments. "I've been involved with Taekwondo since I was a child, so it's hard to give it up," Chau Tuyet Van shared with a smile.
Chau Tuyet Van began her career in 2009, achieving many impressive accomplishments at regional, Asian, and world levels. Currently, in addition to competing, she also works as a Taekwondo coach and participates in many social activities.
