On the evening of December 14th, the Human Act Prize 2024 awards ceremony took place in Hanoi, honoring 31 outstanding projects and ideas that have inspired community contribution. Notably, among the 5 outstanding projects – the most important award category at the Human Act Prize 2024 – the “VinFast Electric Cars and Electric Motorcycles” project was one of the names announced amidst resounding applause from the audience. According to the organizers, in the context of the world working towards environmental protection and emission reduction, VinFast has taken pioneering steps in the production of electric vehicles in Vietnam. VinFast's electric vehicle project was highly praised for focusing on solving two pressing problems in Vietnamese transportation: air pollution and dependence on fossil fuels. By developing advanced electric vehicles with wide accessibility, VinFast has been contributing to changing perceptions, guiding consumers towards the use of clean energy and environmentally friendly vehicles. Furthermore, the judging panel highly appreciated the significance of the VinFast electric vehicle project because of its widespread charging station network and reasonably priced models, which have created a strong impetus, driving the rapid development of the Vietnamese electric vehicle market. “With continuous efforts, VinFast is gradually asserting its position on the international stage, bringing ‘Made in Vietnam’ products to global consumers, contributing to the realization of sustainable development goals, in line with the global trend of greening
the economy ,” the organizers of the Human Act Prize 2024 assessed VinFast. Not only did it receive excellent evaluations from the judging panel, but the most important award, the Human Act Prize 2024, also received strong support from the community. On many forums, numerous members have offered congratulations to VinFast for the worthy contributions the Vietnamese car manufacturer has made to the community.

On a large online forum discussing life perspectives, member Tran Minh Chien acknowledged that the value of VinFast electric vehicles goes beyond simply providing transportation; they are creating change in the lives of millions of people. “We are living in terrible environmental conditions. If we don't make comprehensive changes, starting with changing our transportation habits, our children and grandchildren will suffer consequences hundreds or thousands of times more severe than the present,” Chien stated. In fact, according to him, positive change is already happening in society, especially since the Vietnamese car manufacturer has achieved the number one market share in Vietnam in just a few short years. The Vietnamese car company is not simply offering a green option; more importantly, VinFast is removing barriers to green transportation for millions of people, from affordable models with superior quality compared to other models in the same segment, to excellent after-sales service and, most importantly, a widespread electric vehicle ecosystem. More broadly, as one expert in the field of sustainable development noted, VinFast is a worthy contender because the Vietnamese brand is truly "committing to the community." "VinFast and Vietnamese electric vehicles are leading the way, creating momentum for Vietnam to make changes towards a greener and more sustainable direction," the expert said.
