Training session introducing the Experience Portal for households and individual businesses.

On the morning of December 12th, the Tax Department organized a training conference to introduce the User Experience Portal for household and individual businesses, aiming to help taxpayers familiarize themselves with and experience the system's operations using simulated self-declared data.

The conference was held online, connecting the Tax Department's main location with 34 provincial and city tax offices and 350 local tax offices. Deputy Director of the Tax Department Mai Son chaired the meeting at the main location. Deputy Head of Tay Ninh Provincial Tax Department Tran Thi Thu Van chaired the meeting at the provincial tax office.

At the conference, units under the Tax Department presented an overview of the interface and main functions of the User Experience Portal for household and individual businesses. Participants exchanged ideas, discussed, and guided household businesses in directly experiencing the application, and addressed any technical or operational issues that arose.

Households and individual businesses can follow the tax declaration process instructions on the Experience Portal.

Based on the general guidance from the Tax Department, Deputy Director Mai Son requested that the Tax Departments of provinces, cities, and localities instruct relevant departments to proactively study the documents and thoroughly understand the functions on the Experience Portal in order to promptly guide and support taxpayers; and at the same time, establish and publicize a hotline, email address, and dedicated support contact point for the Experience Portal for household and individual businesses.

To implement the 60-day intensive plan for transitioning from lump-sum tax to declaration-based tax for business households from November 1st to December 30th, 2025, in the last two weeks of 2025, Deputy Director of the Tax Department Mai Son requested continued deployment of tax officials to provide direct guidance at fixed support points and mobile teams. Following the principle of genuine partnership, this support helps business households and individuals experience the portal before entering the official declaration period in 2026.

According to regulations, from 2026, the lump-sum tax system for household businesses will be abolished, shifting to a digital tax declaration method based on self-declaration and self-payment. This change in tax management is considered a significant turning point, bringing the individual economy closer to a transparent operating model and approaching the standards of a business enterprise.
