Mobilizing three units to control a large fire at a wood factory in Dong Nai

Because the wood workshop contained many flammable materials, the fire broke out fiercely, making it difficult to put out.

On January 11, authorities in Dong Nai are investigating a fire at a wood workshop specializing in the production of wooden pallets in Thien Tan commune, Vinh Cuu district.

Earlier, on the night of January 10, a fire broke out at a wood workshop and quickly spread, engulfing the entire workshop of nearly 1,000 square meters. Inside the workshop were mostly flammable wooden items. At the time of the fire, there was a strong wind, so the fire burned fiercely, rising dozens of meters high.

The local forces had difficulty in extinguishing the fire, so they notified the authorities for rescue. Upon receiving the fire alarm, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police, Vinh Cuu District Police, and Bien Hoa City Police mobilized 8 fire trucks and dozens of officers, soldiers, and vehicles to the scene to extinguish the fire.

The fire blazed fiercely, the smoke column was dozens of meters high.

Because the wood facility was large, the professional fire fighting force split into many directions to surround and control the fire.

Initial reports indicate that the fire did not cause any human casualties, but burned and collapsed hundreds of square meters of the factory along with many properties and wooden furniture inside.
