(NLDO) - Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Bau Bang District People's Committee.
On December 2, Bau Bang District Party Committee held the 29th Party Executive Committee Conference, term XII, term 2020 - 2025 and the Conference of key district officials.
At the conference, the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on approving the election results of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee for Mr. Nguyen Cong Quan, Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, was announced.

On the same day, the People's Council of Bau Bang district, term III, 2021 - 2026, held the 11th Session (special session), the session approved the draft Resolution confirming the results of the termination of the duties of the People's Council delegate of term III, 2021 - 2026 for Mr. Vo Thanh Giau, former Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bau Bang district due to transfer to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
At the same time, the meeting elected Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the Bau Bang District People's Committee.
According to the planning project just approved by the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, by 2040 Bau Bang district will develop in the direction of industry, services, agriculture and become a center of innovation and industry in the north of the province.
Bau Bang District strives to become a town under Binh Duong province; with the orientation of prioritizing industrial and service development. Currently, Bau Bang has 3 industrial parks with an area of about 2,000 hectares.
According to the approved planning project, Bau Bang district will open and build 6 more industrial parks with a total area of 4,176 hectares.
Of which, Cay Truong Industrial Park (in Cay Truong II Commune and Lai Uyen Town) is 700 hectares wide; Lai Hung Industrial Park (Tan Hung Commune) is 600 hectares wide; Bau Bang 3 Industrial Park (in Cay Truong II Commune and Tru Van Tho Commune) is 1,146 hectares wide; Bau Bang 4 Industrial Park (Tan Hung Commune) is 500 hectares wide; Bau Bang 5 Industrial Park (in Long Nguyen Commune) is 1,000 hectares wide and Dau Tieng Industrial Park has a land area of 221 hectares in Bau Bang district.
