BTS's J-Hope shares his feelings 1 month before his discharge from the army

On September 17th, Korean time, J-Hope took to the fan communication platform Weverse to express his thoughts. He said, "One month, exactly 30 days. Time has passed so slowly, but now I'm attached to it. When cleaning out, I give my used items to my juniors, and seeing my closet empty, I feel more attached."

Recalling his time in the military, he added, "Looking back, it wasn't a big deal, but back then, I was very stressed (referring to the male idol's experience with pressure during his military service). Even the sound of opening the locker made me uncomfortable. Now, seeing the new recruits, I feel a connection with them and I smile as I remember my former self. I'm proud of my time here. I'm happy about it."

J-Hope jokingly said that he is currently "a seasoned soldier" and is in a relaxed state to write messages to his fans.

J-Hope also said, “I hope for peace in everyone’s families, and my heart is fluttering like a dove with happiness this Chuseok (Korean Mid-Autumn Festival).”

Although this is a warm Chuseok holiday, I still wish you all a prosperous holiday.”

He concluded with a wish: “I hope autumn will come soon. I’ll see you all next month. Until then, take care of yourselves and stay healthy.”

J-Hope enlisted as an active-duty soldier last April and is currently working as an instructor at a recruit training center. He is expected to be discharged on October 17th, Korean time.
