On the morning of August 17th, the Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School, in coordination with the National Academy of Public Administration, held the opening ceremony for the 24th/2024 training course for senior specialist and equivalent civil servants. Dr. Bui Huy Tung, Head of the Training Management Board of the National Academy of Public Administration, attended the ceremony. Also present were: Mr. Vu Van Dien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and trainees who are leaders of provincial departments and agencies, and heads and deputy heads of provincial offices.

During the training course, participants will receive instruction from professors, associate professors, doctors, and senior lecturers of the National Academy of Public Administration on 27 specialized training programs and 6 reporting topics, including: Controlling the exercise of state power in Vietnam today; development trends of Vietnamese socialist law; public service culture and public service responsibility; national digital transformation management; national financial security; public-private partnerships in public service delivery; inter-sectoral and inter-regional management; emergency situation management skills; circular economy and the role of the State; analytical and systems thinking skills…

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Vu Van Dien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that Quang Ninh province always pays special attention to the training and development of cadres and considers this a regular and important task. He requested that the trainees strictly adhere to the regulations, concentrate fully on their studies, proactively research, and actively exchange and discuss to clarify issues according to the program content and apply them to practice. He also requested that the trainees arrange their time appropriately to ensure they study according to the course program and achieve the highest learning effectiveness.

The training course is a practical activity that helps trainees supplement and enhance their knowledge of the state and law, and national governance; it develops the skills of senior specialist-level and equivalent civil servants to effectively and efficiently perform their assigned duties and responsibilities. This contributes to improving political qualities, sense of responsibility, service attitude, proactiveness, and creativity in carrying out assigned tasks.
