Opening of night tourism services on Nguyen Van Troi bridge

DNO - On the evening of May 31, the People's Committee of Son Tra district organized the opening ceremony of night tourism services on Nguyen Van Troi bridge and the East bank park at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi bridge.

Accordingly, the opening ceremony is one of a series of activities to implement the Pilot Plan to organize night tourism services on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and the east bank park at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge of the City People's Committee to introduce, promote and attract a large number of local people and tourists to experience night tourism services at this location.

Many activities were organized such as: Ao Dai performance and fashion show with the theme "A glimpse of Han River", with the participation of more than 20 artists and models with Ao Dai designs in many styles; Street dance with the participation of more than 300 dancers with the theme "Sparkling Han River" in the area of Tran Hung Dao street (from the foot of Tran Thi Ly bridge to the border of Bui Thi Xuan street); art performance program with the theme "Son Tra - Music rendezvous", with many attractive and unique performances...

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of Son Tra District People's Committee Huynh Van Hung said that with the aim of organizing high-quality night-time activities and services to serve tourists and residents, the district expects to develop the night-time economy based on its existing advantages in terms of location and landscape.

In phase 1, Son Tra district cleaned the entire area, planted new trees and replaced them, added lighting and decorative electricity, installed stages, decorative frames, built miniature landscapes, connected water supply and drainage systems, and lighting in the area; auctioned and organized 5 service stalls, 1 children's playground, completed the "Colorful Road" check-in point on the road leading to Nguyen Van Troi bridge with a length of 170m... with a total cost of more than 6 billion VND.

With the completion of phase 1 of the project, the East Bank Park area at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge has changed its appearance, contributing to beautifying a large space connecting the two banks of the Han River; creating a unique beauty of the bridge bearing the historical mark of the city.

In phase 2 of the plan, the district will continue to invest in upgrading, designing, and renovating facilities, infrastructure, flower gardens, lighting, flower models, lam cars, check-in points on the bridge; organizing events and festivals such as: folk music performances, lyrical music, street music, painting and exhibitions, aerobics, street dances, yoga festivals... many entertainment and service activities for people and tourists, to create highlights and activities connecting with Bach Dang walking street (Hai Chau).

Night tourism products and services on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and the East bank park at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge are expected to be a boost for tourism development of the city in general and Son Tra district in particular in 2024 and the following years.
