(GLO) - On June 10th, the Gia Lai Provincial Police Investigation Agency announced the arrest of 15 suspects for investigation into a murder that occurred on June 6th, 2023 in Kbang district.
According to initial information, at approximately 10 PM on June 6th, Nguyen Van Manh (born in 2007) was driving a motorcycle with license plate 77F1-253.48, carrying Tran Quoc Trung (born in 2009, both residing in Dong commune, Kbang district) near the town square when they encountered a group of young men on multiple motorcycles carrying weapons. Upon seeing the two boys, the group suddenly chased after them with their weapons, so Manh drove the motorcycle carrying Trung away to escape.
However, upon reaching Quang Trung Street (in Group 9, Kbang town), Mạnh's vehicle crashed into the median strip, causing both of them to fall. Afterward, Mạnh continued to flee while Trung was surrounded and attacked with weapons by the group of young men. Despite timely intervention and being taken to the hospital, Trung died at the Kbang town health station.

Upon receiving notification of the case, Colonel Duong Van Long - Deputy Director and Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Provincial Police - personally went to the scene to direct the Criminal Police Department to coordinate with the Kbang District Police and other relevant units to conduct a scene investigation and autopsy to investigate and clarify the case.
At approximately 7 PM on June 9th, the police arrested 15 individuals involved, including: Dinh Van Ot (born 1998), Dinh Hiep (born 2002), Dinh Van Truong (born 2002), Dinh Mon (born 2006), Dinh Van Thong (born 2006), Dinh Vu (born 2004), Dinh Van Than (born 2007), Dinh Van Kuc (born 2006), Dinh Van Roih (born 1994), Dinh Van Trung (born 2002), Dinh Van Uy (born 2000), Dinh Van Nam (born 2005), Dinh Bich (born 2008, all residing in Dong commune, Kbang); Dinh Van Tuyen (born 2002) and Dinh Van Sun (born 2000, both residing in Kong Long Khong commune, Kbang).
Currently, the case is being further investigated by the Gia Lai Provincial Police to clarify the cause and criminal acts of each suspect in order to handle them according to the law.
