Khanh Hoa: Body of missing teenager found during picnic

On the afternoon of August 12, the leader of the People's Committee of Cong Hai commune (Khanh Hoa province) said that the authorities had found the body of NBK (14 years old, residing in Bao An ward) in the Ba Ho stream area (Cong Hai commune).

Earlier, on the afternoon of August 11, the authorities received a report that a teenager had gone missing while on a picnic with his family at Ba Ho stream. The rescue team, in coordination with the Cong Hai Commune Police and local residents, conducted a search but to no avail.

This area has two water holes more than 4m deep, many boulders, rugged terrain, and dense vegetation.

Authorities used diving equipment to search the water hole; along with local residents and family members, they searched the stream area, but did not find the victim.

This morning, K's body was found in a rock cavity, under deep water.
